Cheapest Accommodation?

Question

Planning a trip with a friend of mine, we are both undergraduate students hence would like to keep accommodation cost to a minimum (only a night sleep anyway).

So out of the following, which one would be the cheapest.

Bed & Breakfast

Cabins & Cottages

Caravan & Camping Park (on-site cabins)

Farm Stay

Motels

Or any other you have in mind would be appreciated.

Depends on where and when you are going.  If you have set destinations and you find yourself in or near a bigger city - you should search Hotwire.com.  Especially on a weekend you will find really nice hotels really inexpensively esp ones in corporate office parks (about 6 years ago I stayed in Alexandria VA in a 5 star hotel with a rack rate of 250/  paid 59.

If you will be in an area for a few days - I'm a big fan of the REsidential Hotels (Residence INn, SpringHill by Marriott, Extended stay america etc) you get a decent room - AND a kitchen.

depending on where you go I would assume a cabin would be cheapest and more fun. however great deals on motels too. Where are you going? maybe I can tell you where to look. GL
