Well hey, thanks for stopping by for me!

I'm a Lithuanian-American, and I have my heart set on attending college "university" somewhere in the UK, I don't mind where. My family is considered pretty wealthy to American standards, but I understand our money will be worth half as much in the UK so I am looking to save some change and attend university in a cheap place. Which do you think out of Wales, England or Scotland is cheapest for Americans?

And is the UK cheap for people who are natives?

Thanks!

  1. the south of England is probably the most expensive area.

I'd say the North of England, somewhere like Manchester University will be a good one to attend. Fairly cheap city to live in, and it's a uni that has a lot of overseas students.

as far as the UK being cheap for natives ... no it's just expensive for everyone :-( (unless your filthy rich) especially at the moment as our economy is in a downfall and we are heading for a recession

  2. Definitely head to England, it's the biggest so has more room.
