Cheapest and best way to get to Nice from Paris?

I've taken the train from Paris to Cannes a few times, which is very close to Nice.  It's about 6 hours and is probably the most economical.  You'll want to check the SNCF web site for rates etc.  It leaves from Gare de Lyon in Paris.

I am traveling from Nice to Paris next month and flying was cheapest and fastest. Flying Air France a one way ticket is around $60.00 and takes about 1hour 15min.
