It's a tough one and there's no hard and fast answer, but you'll generally find the lower fares on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, right in the middle of the week. Sometimes a Thursday flight might be a little cheaper too, though definitely veer away from Fridays and weekends, which are the most popular times to travel -- and therefore tend to cost more.
