Your best bet for the cheapest driver's ed is to do Parent Taught driver's ed. That's what I did. Just go to the DPS or DMV nearest your house and request a parent taught driver's ed packet, which I think is the only thing you have to pay for...around $5-10 or so. The packet will be mailed to you- it has all the necessary instructions, paperwork to fill out, and a manual. In driving school, you spend like half your time reading out of a manual which is a complete waste of money because you can do this at home. All you and your parents (or an older sibling?) have to do is follow the directions given... it's not too bad! It's a lot cheaper and you can do it on your own time.

i went to one in Cinco ranch but i cant remember the exact amount it was but its right next to a super target over there and its called katy driving school
