Cheapest foods/places to eat in London?

are there bistros or cheap restaurants/fast foods in London....similar to the ones in the Latin Quart of Paris?

Every area has cheap places to eat - some cheaper than others and some better than others.

In London there ar ein fact lots of places where you can get excellent food on a budget. It might be worth buying the Tiem Out Cheap Eats guide which will help you out. Alternatively - search through www.squaremeal.com and www.london-eating.com as you can search by price and area.

how about china town at Leicester Square,or another thing is to check out where the taxi drivers eat,after all, they know everywhere  dont they.

try fish n chips or chicken n chips, look for turkish kebab shops

ummm well i dont know if you are familiar with Morden but theres a pretty little restaurant called Bella Donna and they have half price meals mon-thurs, so a main is about £4.50.....the people are lovely and friendly and the pizza chef you can watch make all the pizzas infront of your eyes!!! its great great!!

Otherwise check out the lastminute.com and they have nice deals for places throughout london...there normally good...
