  6. it is depend on your requirement and liking in my view icici lombard health insurance is good one

  7. What is cheapest for one person may be the most expensive for another. You'll just have to call around to get quotes.

  8. Hello, The thing about insurance is that they charge an arm and leg and there are usually lots of paperwork.  Plus they don't always cover everything which doesn't help either.  I know of a great health benefits company that is a discount company not insurance and you can save up to 85%.  It is very affordable!  If your interested send me message or im.  I hope you find something that fits you!

  9. There is one company Mega Health Ins. that says they are cheap. They are cheap because they do not cover everything that other companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield do.

Compare things like Mega says they pay $25 (maybe more now) for doctor's visits. But the office visit is usually much more and they will not pay for tests. BCBS usually pays about everything with a co-pay.

Be careful. The cheapest might just be that-cheap because they do not pay.

  10. ~~This question has so many variables it's really hard to answer. It would depend on where you live, your health history, your age, etc. The best advice I have is go to www.ehealthinsurance.com  aand you can at least compare coverage with quite a few different companies.~~

  11. Ultimately, you are the one who determines the affordability of your health insurance plan by deciding how much you will participate in sharing the cost of your health care with your insurance company.

If you choose a plan that covers everything i.e. doctors office visits, prescription drugs, preventative health benefits, maternity coverage as well as low deductibles and low copays your monthly premiums will be significant.

On the other hand if you are young and healthy and rarely use the health care system you could consider a plan that covers only the major health catastrophe which will result in a relatively low monthly premium. You then can use the monthly premium savings to pay for the occasional doctor visit and still come out ahead.

You need a trusted adviser to help you through the process of purchasing health insurance so that you understand what you are purchasing. That adviser can answer questions as to what is and is not covered by the policy, explain deductibles and copays and show you the hospitals and doctors that participate in the network. Check with the agent that writes your home or auto insurance he/she can provide you a health insurance proposal that takes into account your budget and health situation.

Some may suggest going on line to get a quote but you probably already know that there is much more to health insurance than price. Use the Internet to educate yourself but use an agent to purchase the coverage.

  12. Cobra is pretty cheap. If you're employer doesn't give health inssurance or you don't have an employer deffinatly go with cobra. I think you pay by the month or a anual fee.
