We are looking for somewhere to stay at on July 19th (sat.) and check out on Sunday (20th). We only need a place to sleep so I'm trying to find the cheapest.....but everywhere I've looked is over $100! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Best site to look is here and there are at least a few cheaper than $100 for sure:

  2. My friends & I stayed at the Melrose Motel when we went for the weekend a couple years ago.  It certainly wasn't posh, but it was pretty close to the park, cheap & a place to sleep for the night.

    Here is a link:

  3. Stay a little bit away from the park. I stayed at a motel about twenty minutes away and it was cheap and clean. Most, if not all, of the hotels that surround Cedar Point are rat's nests with a high price tag.

  4. The prices are high because it is the peak season for Cedar Point.  In Milan, OH (it's actually in Avery, but the address is Milan), there is a Red Roof Inn with hotel rooms at $107.49.  That is the cheapest I could find that is not a rat's home.  This hotel is about 15 minutes from Sandusky on Route 250, just north of the Ohio Turnpike (about 1/4 mile away).

  5. Best Budget Inn N Cedar Point starts at $37.80 a night.  Not 5 stars but its cheap.
