Cheapest insurance at my age?

Question

I'm currently 16 with a 1990 Toyota Supra Turbo.

Cheapest insurance ive looked up was 197$ a month...

And that was with proggressive...

Alot of the insurance places ive checked all require me to be 18....

Anyone know any cheaper place i could check?

Whoa...that's expensive!  Can't you get on your parents' policy?  Also, you may be able to get a "good student discount" if your grades are good.  And you don't need full coverage on an 18 y/o vehicle...it's not worth it. Stick with liability or just above state minimum.  You don't need comprehensive or collision....your vehicle isn't worth paying the extra insurance.

state farm or einsurance are both pretty cheap, dont know bout the age thing though

Thats pretty cheep for you being under 18 i got my licence when i was 23 cuz i used to live in the city and never needed but i moved to Texas and  I need it out there I pay 250 a month a lot of insurencees make you have a good driving recoerd for 3 years then the rates go down beofre when you were 25 it went down no matter what now they make you drive for 3 years no matter what and you have a turbo and its going to be harsh man and depeniding the state a 2 door car no matter what it is its a sports car

considering your a 16 yr old male, thats pretty cheap. Im an 18/yr old female an i pay 287/month for my 95 civic. i cant wait til im 25.
