Cheapest label maker or best way to label controllers and other stuff?

Hi! I would like to label all my video game controllers and video game consoles so they don't get confused with my roommates, but I'm not sure what the best/cheapest way to do this is. Originally I was hoping to buy a label maker and print my name many times and stick these on my stuff but label makers are a bit expensive just for a simple thing like printing my name. I thought maybe I could get some really good stickers that don't come off that would be a good indication that it was mine, but I'm not sure what stickers would be the best. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Go to Michaels or another craft store, get a fine tipped brush and some Testors model paint, in a color you like. Paint a small, inconspicuous marking (or paint your name) on them. Easy and permanent way to ID them.
