Question:

Cheapest phone and broadband provider?

I'm with BT at the minute but I'm getting sick of paying out around £200 just for the phone and broadband

My rental charges alone are nearly £90 a month so I'm looking to change to another provider

Anyone know the cheapest out a the minute?

  1. I cancelled my account with Bt today and have signed up with sky. I literally got my sky plus (free upgrade!!) broadband and telephone for about the same as I was paying for my telephone and broadband. Well worth checking up on!!

  2. My sister set up a Vigin phone and cable broadband packagefor £15 / month

    it's fast too

  3. Vonage....$24.99 a Month

  4. you want to try talktalk phone& bband about £15mth

  5. Sky are excellent value for money.

  6. Talk Talk still comes out the cheapest I believe. A friend, not sure what she's paying now, not long back for £20 she got free national calls & some international, up to 8MB and that included line rental, she doesn't pay BT. Mines £15pm, free evening and weekend calls, unlimited downloads & up to 8MB. That's Virgin non cable. Still pay BT rental though.

  7. £90 a month?!!! That's ridiculous! I use sky - but pay the BT line rental which is £10.50 a month. You can sky from as little as £16 on top - get the TV, then you get a free call package and free broadband.

Or you can pay more like I do - I get more TV and pay extra for more downloading limit. My total spend is about £55 a month - including call charges :)

  8. A new and upcoming company that you might want to look at is "Momentum Plus"

They also offer the opportunity to become part of the company and enjoy financial benefits.

Those other companies are more than happy to take your monthly fees and give you nothing in return.

  9. They're not the cheapest out of all the uk providers, but Post Office Homephone and Broadband are pretty d**n good and reasonably priced. We switched to them from BT last month and we have had a thumping good service from them. They've been perfect. They are cheaper than BT, we now pay £26 for line rental, calls and unlimited wireless broadband! That was half of what we were paying BT!!
