The one place I could have think of is those half price store in the heartland and you could even find some around town in bugis village and bencoolen, they have everything from tools to comestic, toiletery, battery so on and so forth.

Cheapest place is dollar store. You can great items like toys made with lead paint from China and toothpaste made with some live bacteria from China.

Try Mustaffa Shopping Center. It has all necessary items except for liquor. Its relatively cheap but be prepared o spend some time there cos its very big
