Depends what you mean by cheap, I used to go to Col Nayer in the Queens Plaza, but I found a neat little barber shop at central station that does everything Col Nayer does for almost half the price, mind you they do take a little longer than usual, check out Male Profile in Central Station on the left exit near the atms, you will find the red & white pole. I do sympathise, finding a decent hair place that doesn't charge the earth in Brisbane city isn't an easy task!

Take a trip over to West End and visit Bill Diacos in Vulture Street, near the corner of Boundary Street. A cheap, pleasant, very competent men's barber. Then wander down Boundary Street for a high quality low cost lunch at the Swiss Gourmet Deli.
