Cheapest place to rent a car in florida for a month?

i just moved back to fl and i need a car to just get me started i already have a job tranfer i just need some way to get around and i don't ride the bus and don't like to depend on ppl. all the time for rides... so where can i rent a car for a month for like the cheapest i can get and it does not have to be fancy...also if there is a place i can buy a car too that would be helpful info also but now i just want to rent please help me out

.  I used to have good luck at the major dealerships.  THey had cars to rent.  Now they don't do it much altho i would call.  Right now i recommend getting an Enterprise Rental for 30 days.  Or buy a junker and sell it to a deserving teenager for $1 when you are done with it.

In CA there is an outfit known as rent-a-wreck.  They are not really wrecks.  They are older cars that may have a ding or two.  They are drivable and reasonable.  It may have an office in FL.

Call AVIS 1-800-527-0700, or enterprise 1-800-325-8007 or Hertz 1-800-654-3131. Or go on ORBITZ under google and book it on line.  They will compare rates for you, and list them so you can pick the best deal.
