  1. It is best to book it on  the disney website. And to stay in  a cheap hotel(value resorts). If u stay in a disney hotel u recive extra benifts such as extra hours in the parks and free transport to and from parks. This is worth it as parking is very expensive. The dining plan is gd but if u r a vei their is nt much variety. I would take water with u and u spend 2 dollars on 1 bottle of water and u get exteremmley thirsty! The value resorts are  pretty gd u gt 2 double bed s an attached bathroom. Dont get park hopper you probally wont get time to go 2 more than 1 park a day. Get waterpark and more option it is worth it. You may want 2 book the tickets wen u get their but do not buy an indivual ticke for each day (the more u stay they less u pay). Its all worth it though the shows are amazing!!! But dont expect thrills disney is more for kids if u want thrills go to universal . They have a unlimted pass for 7 days for 90 dolars or u can  get an orlando flexi ticket for sea world, universal, bush gardens , aquatica , wet n wild , islands of adevtre for 7 days for 170 dollars thats prety gd value but i think the hotel is more expensive. Nt sure though. Vale resort are roughly 90 dollars a nite. But u get maid service and a tv and everythin and its gd. The food is bad tho. Hope this helps. Hope u have a gd time. All the people there are so nice. Dont 4get to get a fastpass at sme rides u cn skip most of the que. U basically put ur card in the machine come back like 2 hours later and que in  a shorter line. ITS FREE! LoL

  2. well i would do a whole package deal.

    i'd include:

    flight

free tranportation from the airport to hotle and back again.

plus there are free buses from your hotel to anywhere on disney property so you don't need to rent a car.

hotel at a value resort i suggest pop century and choose a standard room instead of a preferred room. the preferred room just garuntees you will have pool side view. but what you really want is to be closest to the main building so just pick the standard room cuz you will save a few bucks.

a 4 day base ticket. no park hopper or water parks cuz its really not needed when trying to save money.

and the disney dining plan is great. and well worth it.

i suggest bringing breakfast from home like cereal or pop tarts.

and buy the $12 refillabel mug that you can refill as much as you want at your hotel's cafiteria.

    and the dining plan includes:

    1 snack per day

    1 table service per day

    1 quick service per day.

this way you can eat breakfast (whatever you bring) and get say milk or juice with your refillable mug or whatever you want

    then

    lunch-one of the meals

snack-which can be a drink like pop, water, chocolate milk or ice cream, chips, what ever

    dinner-the other meal.

    it works out sooo well.

anyways thats how i do it.

and if you belong to AAA it won't cost you anything to have them book your trip. i'm not sure about any other travel agents.

but they do it the same way that you would do it. they simply go on the disney world website and plug in the info. sometimes they can find a promotion that you didn't know about or can find you cheaper airfare than on the disney website.

but usually they don't get you much cheaper than you can get on your own.

here is the disneyworld website. just plug in your info and customize your trip.

there is no obligation to book your trip once you customize it so just check out the prices and even print it out so you can show it to your friends.

  3. I have done research on this many of times. It is better to do it by yourself. You can actually save a lot of money by staying off site, and bringing your own food. There are also many books out there, like this one book called Disney on a Dime. I own it and still get some more ideas.

  4. Generally, it is cheaper to book a package deal, no matter how you do it.  It's ok to either book direct with Disney or to use a travel agent site such as Travelocity.  A Disney travel agent might be able to find you some deals, but if you have to pay much for their services, I wouldn't.

You unfortunately can't save much on tickets because Disney doesn't allow discount sales, except for very small amounts.

  5. We just went to disney world in June.. and we used expedia.com and it was wonderful. it is cheaper to do all the work yourself than to go to a travel agent. if you book all of your trips together it will tell you when you are booking it on the web site how much each person pays. When you get there it is cheaper too if you buy all of your tickets at once then paying day by day!

  6. do the dining plan, its much cheeper than not.. also stay on site so you dont have to pay a taxi or rent a car..

  7. In all honesty, I have generally found it cheaper to use a TA for trip,s but not necessary..

You will need to decide a few things:

1> Offsite or on-site.  On-site will be a little more pricey, but you won't need a car at all.  Whether you are doing all-disney or other parks is a factor here.

2>  Dining plan - As a cheaper option, next year Disney is offering the Quck Serve plan, which includes 2 counter service meals per day plus a snack.  Counter service at Disney is a lot more than hamburgers and fries.

3>  How to get there..  This is where you can make or break a budget and a good TA can help.  You didn't say where from so I can't make suggestions.

4>  Time or year.  Hotel rates vary according to time of year, this can make a difference in your budget.

Check out websites like allears.net and wdwinfo.com to get some information.  Dreamsunlimitedtravel.com has a good rep for giving free quotes and finding the best possible deals.

  9. almost all of the hotels in the area offer free shuttle service and all most all of them offer continual breakfest there are McDonald's and such all over the place so eating cheaply isn't a issue  also there is a public bus system that goes to all the main attractions,to save money in the park itself do not eat in there and bring a water bottle to refill during the day to save major bucks
