Cheapest way from California to Mexico?

I live in San Diego, CA (30 minutes away from Mexico in car) and I'm wondering what's the cheapest way to get to the border other than driving down there and parking my car right outside of Mexicoin the parking lots. Thanks

The trolley is definitely the way to go.  You can walk from the San Ysidro trolley station to downtown Tijuana in about 10 minutes.

Take the Blue Line trolley to San Ysidro transit center and walk across. Much better than leaving your car at the border. Depends where you are coming from as to how much it will cost but it cheaper than gas.

Any buses run down there? Get as close as the bus can get you and then walk the rest of the way.
