Cheapest way possible to get from england to serbia in july?

we are ttudents travelling from manchester to serbia for the EXIT festival on the 10th of july and want to do if for the cheapest amount possible. travel time is irrelevant really. we have looked into flights from london to poland, considered interrailing from then on, or simply getting a coach from london to amsterdam, then interrailing, but so far everything is coming out 300 pounds plus. excluding the cost of hostels etc, we would really appreciate any backpackers experience on travelling to serbia (and visitng a couple of countries on the way)!!!! thanks soooooooo much

There are cheap direct flights from London Stansted and/or Edinburgh to Belgrade by Germanwings:

If you start looking early, you will be able to find quite cheap tickets. From belgrade it is an hour drive to Novi Sad.

Other option ( cheaper ) is to fly from Manchester to Budapest

You can spend a few days in Hungary. If you have more time you can also visit Slovakia.

There are cheap train and bus tickets both to Novi Sad and Bratislava.

i think there should be real cheap flights from London to Budapest, Hungary. From Budapest you can travel by train.
