Cheapest way to get from Philly to Ithaca NY?

Im trying to get to Cornell but greyhound, the company i normally use, has gotten so pricey. Any thoughts?

You are not doing anything much cheaper than Greyhound.  You might ask if the school itself has a shared ride program available, they can hook you up with someone driving from the same area who wants to split expenses).

Can you find anyone who is driving and share expenses? Other than that, you have to take the bus or Amtrak and neither is cheap. Maybe Craig's List has someone listed, but watch out for shady characters.
