Cheapest way to get from philly to pittsburgh?

I need to visit my girlfriend in pittsburgh.. what's the cheapest way to get there and back (roundtrip)?

Hitchhike.  Walking's always cheap.

Otherwise... drive or catch "the skinny dog" (Greyhound)

The bus is probably the cheapest. Second is probably driving. Lastly, Southwest has a direct flights to and from Philly, so you may want to check that out. I just depends on how fast you want to get here. Flying is probably fastest, followed by driving. You will probably have a couple layovers taking Greyhound, so you could take 12-14 hours to get someplace that only takes 6 hours if you drive yourself.
