I just graduated from Highschool and Im going to be a full-time bodybuilder, and have a part-time job. My main focus is bodybuilding and I need only enough money to feed myself and to afford a gym membership which is $30.00 a month, along with all the supplements I must have. Im loaded anyways, not rich but enough to get started on. I really dont care were I live even if its a shack and Im not driving a car because I need to conserve as much money as I can specifically for my training, and my gym is very close to my work place. So what kind of place would u suggest I live in that cost next to nothing to live in??? I really dont care if theres a roof on the place as long as I have a place to sleep and take showers. Im not really sure what kind of place this would be. TY for ur help

  1. You already know the answer. You want to camp out in a vacant place. Go ahead if you promise you won't be sneaking around at 2am and scaring the neighbors.

If you are strong, find an elderly person who needs help getting up stairs and accept a free room in return for some help for someone's mom.

  2. You are young and have goals...I guess the rest will fall into place as long as you remain this determined!  In the mean time, is there a reason you are not living at home with your parents at 18? If it is only due to wanting to be out on your own then please trust me when I say to suck it up and live with them until you can afford to live on your own and have more of your future in place!  If there are other reasons than that then what I would suggest is to search the local paper. Often there are ads for people who are looking for a tenant to rent out a single bedroom in thier home. Also, what about some of the other guys at the gym? Do they have any room to spare in their places?

  3. Why don't you look for someone who is renting out a room in their home .... ?

You don't mention what state you are in ... and town; which makes a diffference ....

You can find furnished rooms starting at $350 and go UP ... and many including utilities .....

Hey; Planet Fitness has their premium memberships that run about just $17 a month .... and a good gym ....

  4. Why not advertise for a place to live through craigslist.com?  You might be able to find someone in a home with an extra room they'd like to rent on the cheap - just enough to help them with gas money, etc.

P.S.  I strongly advise you to get a part-time job that offers health benefits.

  5. stay away from ny

  6. I recommend putting an add in the paper saying "I buy used mobile homes".

You can buy old mobile homes for hundreds, not thousands. Yes they will need a little work. But then all you need do is pay the lot lease, fix whatever needs fixing, and you have a full-up home that you can live in for very inexpensive, and turn around and sell for a profit later.
