Cheapest way to send books from Paris/France to the US?

Need to send a parcel of books from Paris to the US. Anyone know the cheapest option?

Go to a post office (La Poste).  Cheaper than sending things via US parcel delivery services.

Your cheapest way is to get to one of the public mail offices anywhere in France. They are called "La Poste". Ask anybody where the closest La Poste is. Now if you have kilos of books, you might want to have a box sent by plane or boat.

most likey global express mail or priority main.. you can go to www.usps.com and get a quote .. I do know the postal service offer a flat rate box  up to like 20 pound for global shipments.
