  1. Maybe here: http://www.calling-cards-international.c...

  2. Check out the phone cards at 7/11.  They are really good.

  3. I haven't seen anyone post rates better than this one yet so here goes.  Speedypin offers rates to India as low as 3.5 cents per minute depending on where in India you are calling.  Other cities are 5 cents per minute.  Mobile phones start at 4.5 cents per minute.  Now these really low rates are for calling cards designed to be used by those who make only a few calls but always of long duration and are meant to be used up in a short period of time as they have 3 minute rounding and a weekly surcharge so it's in your best interest to use them up quickly.  Otherwise, the Just Call calling card offered by SpeedyPin is 5.9 cents per minute, has no connect or weekly charges and has 1 minute rounding so you can use it as often or as little as you'd like and you don't have to worry about your time being used up if you don't use it.  Compare that to Tel3Advantage's rate of 8.5 cents per minute!  SpeedyPin is truly the better deal.  I've used them myself several times and the number comes to you right in your email after payment and you can start using it right away.

  4. The 99 cent stores in southern CA has cards which allow talking to any state for one cent a minute and VERY cheap rates for oversea calls.  I talk to Japan for 6 cents a minute. In earlier times the phone company charged me $ 4.50 a minute.  This shows what competition can do.

  5. If you don't mind using VoIP and softphones, then:

    - VBuzzer to India is 6.7 cent/min

    - CallCentric to India is 7.9 cent/min

    - InPhonex to India is 6.4 - 7.9 cent/min (also via Calling Card access)

    - Efonica to India is 10.9 cent/min

All these services have Free Softphones (or BYOD - bring your own ATA or configurable softphone), No contracts, No monthly fees, no commitments, no fine print... only pay-as-you-go service (find links through my profile).

For a calling card only service, Pingo calls to India are 7.3 cent/min.
