Cheat code box not working on Sims 2?

okay so i been using the cheat codes for sims 2 double deluxe but now when i type ctrl shift c to get the box it dosent come up! PLEASE HELP! ASAP! i tried it so many times and it dosent work! and im using the right keys!

I had the same problem...make sure that the game is paused and you hear a sim girl sigh. i hope i helped. If this doesn't work or you have any other problems go here... http://www.cheatcc.com/pc/pc_s.html

cheaters never win!!! ... Just kidding... they win a lot actually.

Save your game and reboot it.
