I think i got this one right, but I would like to see if anyone can check my work.

William Tell's son has found a way to demonstrate his father's skills with the crossbow without putting his head in danger. He climbs to the top of a 20m tall tower and lets an apple fall straight down. Hi dad, standing 10m from the base of the tower will shoot the apple just as it is at a height of 1.5m, the same height from which the crossbow was fired. The arrow of the crossbow has an initial speed of 40 m/s. How much time after his son lets go of the apple does the father need to fire the crossbow? **Hint: calculate the times that both objects need to get from their initial positions to where they are supposed to meet.**

Ok so i found that the apple takes 1.942sec to fall the 18.5m to reach the height of 1.5m. The arrow takes .25sec to traverse the 10m distance. I took 1.942sec-.25sec= 1.69sec as the amount of time. So the father needs to shoot the arrow 1.69sec after his son drops the apple?
