Check answer machine when not at home?

Question

my machine is BT FREESTYLE 310 TWIN 28901

Pressing 0 when it answers doesn't work.

I'm at work just now so i can't check the instructions book.

Please help x

Answer 1

1.  Dial your home number.

2.  Listen to your outgoing message.

3.  Enter your security code.  If you have not set a security  

      code the inbuilt code is "000."

4.  You should hear, "You have x new messages," and the

      message playback begins.

5.  At the end of the messages you will hear, "To hear the

      main menu, press1."

6.  You now have 8 seconds to enter the main menu before

      your phone hangs up.
