Does anybody have any ideas? I've about had it with trying to get the check engine light to illuminate. I found yet another connector disconnected that goes to the check engine light in the dash. It has continuity to the Computer at pin g and to the ALDL pin. The check engine socket gets about 11vdc depending on how long the courtesy light have been on for the doors being open, and gets about 3 mili amps measuring across the lamp and I have a good ground. I also checked the circuit board style panel, for shorts to other circuits, and there weren't any, The 194 bulb does not light up even a little bit. I was thinking maybe there were different types of lower amperage 194 bulbs, so I swapped the bulbs with the oil pressure dummy light, because I know that one works. But it doesn't even light up. I've looked behind my dash cluster for any modules, but dont see any, As I was hoping there was a weak lamp driver. According to my wiring schematics this year didn't have a light driver (voltage booster). I am going to see what radio shack has, for a 3 mili amp bulb. I don't care what it looks like at this point, as long as it is functional.
