This is appalling.  The teacher had no right to have a classroom of 5 year olds, or children of any age, decide whether a classmate could stay or leave and to have them give reasons why or why not.  That's not emotional abuse???

Children, especially at that young age, are very easily intimidated and I'm sure knew what the answer the teacher was looking for from them.   Children can be cruel enough without being egged on by an adult.  I'm thoroughly disgusted.

what a bi*ch, she should at least be fired. if not worse.

i mean it's one thing if she would have kicked him out of class for bad behavior, but i mean hes a kindergardener for god sakes. and the hole voting him out of class thing was just plain wrong

This teacher should be fired. She is not fit enough to oversee a room full of children, while they might have concluded she did not cause emotional stress, I disagree. HORRIBLE thing to do to a 5 year old child, even if he did have behavior issues.
