  1. I agree, but almost all species benefit man in one way or the other. Our problem is that we can not guess which ones will be critical to our own survival, so we are bound to save them all to save ourselves.

But a disease organism that appears to have the potential to wipe us all out fits into a category that we may not spend time figuring out how it might one day save us.

  2. no god created everything for a reason

  3. Survival of the fittest!

  4. It's a life cycle, one cannot survive alone.

  5. NO WAY! Now i may sound like a complete tree hugger or something (and I'm not) but all species should be conserved because even though they may not all benefit mankind but they may benefit those species that do benefit mankind in a little something called the food chain! I mean it's not all about about us and we shouldn't be so selfish to just care for those species that we can get something out of. IT'S SO SELFISH! so yeah conserve everything on our earth even if it doesn't seem to make a difference to us, it does somehow, we just don't know it.

  6. all species are interrelated,

if you do not know how ,does not cancel that

kill mosquitoes most of the life in the woods will die

they are on the bottom of the food chain.

    no bees no bread

    they pollinate wheat

no predators and read here, about the wild animals (wolves)

we are already loosing far too much that is changing the eco systems ,which affect us in the end

so your question does not work in the real world

even changes with microbes and bacteria ,which we cannot see, affect the insects that live of them ,then the animals that eat insects the animals that eat them and the plants that rely on insects are affected and in the end again US.

you need some serious back ground about food chains and biological interrelations
