Check virtual memory?

Is there a way to check how well I've managed to improve the virtual memory of my PC? (Samsung P28)

I've carried out certain things that I was recommended to do on this site.

I'd like to transfer the files to my new laptop, but don't want to start it and when in the middle of the process to get interrupted again by the sign telling me that I have not enough virtual memory to that? And lose all the work and time .

Many thanks for all your help.

  1. i'm assuming that you have windows xp installed on your c-drive. right click on my computer, and select properties. go to advanced tab, you'll have three setting buttons, click on the settings button next to performance. you'll have three tabs, select the advanced tab. at the bottom of the box you'll have virtual memory option. select change, select the option of CUSTOM SIZE at the center of the box. set the INITIAL SIZE : 1024 and MAXIMUM SIZE : 2048. then click on SET, then OK. this should solve your problem. and if you still have the same problem then try freeing some space on your c-drive. hope i helped you in some way. tkcare!!
