Just changed £800 into Euros for my holiday next week.

Got home and checked it all through only to notice that have gave me a lower rate than whats advertised.

They are advertising the Euros at 1.225 to the pound yet they exchanged my money at 1.15.

instead of having €980 i had €920.

Just phoned them up to ask why.... apparantly there system hasnt been updated. they will honour the price advertisede so i will now have to go back and collect my extra €60.

Makes me wonder how many people have been caught out with this, so if your getting any Euros this week from Thomas Cook, double check that they give you the correct amount.

  1. You would have got a better deal at Marks and Spencer, not much, but 1£ = €1.23
