also when they say bag does it mean suitcase and not carry on?

Some people go on a very short trip and do not need to check bags, they just bring in carry-on. So if you want to bring a suitcase, click yes.

If you have bags to check (those that will travel in the belly of the plane), check 'yes'.

If you are only taking carry on, check 'no'

Many people only travel with carry-on luggage for short trips.  It is faster to get through the airport, and you don't have to worry about losing your luggage since it is always with you.

if your checking your bag (youre letting the airline take your bag), then hit yes.

if you only have a carry-on bag and nothing else, hit no.
