Checking Cervix?

Question

I have been checking my cervix and using OPKs as a way to test for fertility. My question is, every time I check my cervix its very high. TMI ahead...I usually have to insert my middle finger to its interity. Today I can't even feel it. My OPK said I O'd on the 23. Is this normal to have a naturally high cervix and not be fertile? Or is it a sign of pregnancy!?! *hopes for second one ;) *

you could just have a naturally high cervix.  while I have heard your cervix is high when pregnant...its too early for implantation to have even occurred yet.  I also just want to make sure you understand opk's properly...they dont tell you that your ovulated...they tell you that your LH is surging and you will be due to ovulate in 12-36 hours so I'm not sure how you know for certain you ovulated on the 23rd...but anyways...good luck.

Yep perfectly normal, and lol at TMI, I too have to use my middle finger majority of days as mine usually is that high I can't reach it at all, whether I'm in fertile phase or not. Cervix position isn't really important as it's not necessary for it to be in any particular position at any given moment, however if it's higher one would think that it is a good thing. I'm not worried doc said it was ok as every women differs. it's not really indicate of pg unfortunately for same reason because every women differs hugely. but if yours if super high and it's not normally then it's possibly a good sign yes, but not 100%.
