Checking your lacrosse stick. Legal or illegal.?

i know if you tip your stick upside down and the ball dosen't fall out your illegal, and if the top of the ball is under the plastic of your stick. but do the refs check your stick any other way, because my friend told me that they tip your stick to a 45 degree angle, and if it dosen't fall out, it's illegal. Is that true? and if there are any other ways they might check your stick. please let me know. thanks.

The only ways they will check your stick is by making sure the pocket isn't too big, and that the ball will fall out.

Nope, it's perfectly legal if your stick is at a 45 degree angle and it doesn't fall out.

They might measure your stick to make sure it is between the allowed 42 and 52 inches.
