  1. YES!  It shows that you are not interested in what the other person has to say, it also says I could be somewhere else right now

  2. Extremely rude.  Body language tells a lot to people whom care to WATCH.  <Word Play> :)

Really if someone is talking your ear off and you are needing to be somewhere or baking cookies etc.... that is very time dependent well, they just really need to deal.  Generally in the business world or when you are speaking with strangers yes it would be considered rude though.   Those examples I gave are some occlusions that are OK.

  3. depends

  4. It depends on whether you have to be somewhere.  If you tell the person that you are pushed for time then they will expect you to keep an eye on it.  To keep glancing at it out of boredom is rude, better to lie and say you have to be somewhere.

  5. If they are in the middle of a sentence and you check your watch it seems as though what they are saying is not important which can come off as rude.

  6. hahah well if someone did it to me, id think their bored of my talk! so yeh it is

whether it is rude or not depends on the sensitivity on the other person, he may find its alright becuase he understands you

if not it will be rude

  8. It's extremely rude.  It's a signal that you're bored, or have somewhere you'd rather be.

  9. Yes

  10. Hmmm... I'd have to say so, your telling the other person that you are more concerned with the time then what they ahve to say
