but basics i would say

loose paper

pencil sharpener

rubbers/erasers

sellotape

glue

pens

pencils

coloured pencils and pens

tippex

geometry set

calculator

folders/books

school uniform??

bag

shoes

text books

laptop?

glasses?

lunch money

credit on your phone

clean desk to do homework

tidy room to keep organised

a clock

alarm clock

dividers for folders

notebooks

money for bus

etc. just all stuff like that

A decent school bag

Some biro pens (Black/ Blue. Red or other colour for notes and annotations)

Pencils (Various graded ones if you are going for art)

A sharpener (a metal one is best)

A ruler

Highlighters for revision lessons

An eraser

A pencil case

Colouring pencils (It's always useful to have your own to avoid the bad class ones)

A binder (for your school work)

A language dictionary if you are doing a language

A dictionary

A thesaurus

A compass

A protractor

A scientific calculator

Gym kit

Gym bag

School books

Uniform, if you need it

A lunch bag if you take packed lunches

Spare paper (use full if you ever forget your homework)
