Checks when applying for uk visa?

When applying for a uk visa, do they check if u have a record in other countries apart from ur own. Do they check the system worldwide?

The UK are on the computer and it does check worldwide , for records .......so, yes ,

when applying for a visa , the other country , where they will ask for your record , will give details ..........
