Cheeky Wee Red chasing hat-trick by winning Racing Post Form With totepool Mobile Handicap (Div I)
Cheeky Wee Red will be chasing a hat-trick of victories in the sport, by winning the Racing Post Form With totepool Mobile Handicap (Div I) at Ayr in England on Monday, July 23, 2012. A victory in the class-6 event will earn her a cash prize of £1,704.
There are some experienced runners lined up for action in the 1 mile event, which will start at 15:05 GMT, thus the competition will be an interesting one. Furthermore, the going will be good, as the weather has remained good at Ayr.
Looking at the performances of all runners, the best chances of victory appear to be with Cheeky Wee Red, as she is carrying an excellent momentum right now. She might not have a very good strike rate, but her recent form will definitely help her get the
attention of the bettors. She has been priced 11 to 4 by the bookies today.
The four-year-old filly has participated in a dozen events in her career, which shows that she has gained some experience now and will not be under a lot of pressure. She has only managed to win a couple of events in her career whereas finished third on
four times.
The Richard Fahey’s trainee made her debut back in August 2010 and took part in just a couple of events that year. She was unable to make an impression in her first ever outing and finished in a disappointing 15th place. There was a slight improvement
in her performance next time around, as she finished fifth in her second race.
Afterwards, the young filly was rested for quite some time before she made her comeback in August 2011. She had improved her speed after the gap and finished third in her first outing of the season.
Since then, there was some consistency in the performance of Cheeky Wee Red, but she did not manage to win any race in 2011. However, her skills seem to have polished this year, as she has delivered some terrific results for her team in the ongoing season.
Pastoral Pursuits’ daughter has participated in four events this year, winning a couple of them whereas finished third on the same number of times. This shows that she is carrying an excellent momentum and will make things difficult for her rivals. She will
be accompanied by Shane B. Kelly today.
