Cheeky Wee Red, the four-year-old chestnut filly is the strongest link in the Class 6 Bettor.Com Finale Last Chance To Bet Apprentice Handicap that has attracted nine three-year and above runners. Ayr will host the race over a mile on Monday, 30th
July.
The four-year-old filly has raced during the new season five times and out of those starts she was prosperous in two. One of these races ended in the winner’s enclosure of the Ayr race course.
Pastoral Pursuits’ filly’s seasonal debut at Ayr was in the See Pixie Lott Here – 22nd June Handicap on 31st May, 2012 over seven furlongs. She ended third as the race was won by, Burnwynd Boy, who defeated the runner-up, Goninodaethat,
by the margin of ¾ of a length.
The Thoroughbred Farms Ltd bred then took over the field of the College Group Apprentice Handicap on 22nd June, 2012 at Ayr over a mile. She concluded the race with much skill and style. The four-year-old burst from the ninth gate strongly and
headed front when inside the final furlong, eventually winning the race by the margin of two lengths.
She won the race in partnership with jockey, Laura Barry, and the two set Tazaamun as the runner-up. Taking up the third position behind the winner was, Sweet Vera.
The chestnut filly out of mare, Swynford Elegance, then won the Isle Of Skye Whisky Handicap on 29th June, 2012 at Musselburgh over seven furlongs. The four-year-old was prominent almost throughout the race. She strode over competition two furlong
out, and retained a composed form in the final furlong winning the race by the margin of 1 ¼ lengths.
Qualifying as the runner-up was, Spread Boy, while concluding the race right after him was, Jupiter Fidius.
The race that was to turn into a hat-trick for the Richard Fahey trained ended in fourth position in the Racing Post Form With Totepool Mobile Handicap (Division I) on 23rd July, 2012 at Ayr over a mile.
The title was won by, Uncle Brit.
Cheeky Wee Red with ride with jockey, Laura Barry, and the two will race out of the eighth gate.
