  1. near monmartrae that is near plas pigalle in Paris. It has some beautiful cafes, and is very cheap.

  2. Paris is as safe as London, so it's not like you'll die from a roadside bomb or anything.

As long as you keep your wits about you, you'll be fine there.

There are lots of cheap b&bs (pensions) available.

Otherwise, the North is safer and cheaper, and easier to get to, but really not as interesting.

  3. I am not sure why you say of Paris that it is "hard to get there" since its only a couple of hours away from London on the Eurostar train.

At 15 it seems to me that you are still a bit young to be traveling without an adult. Do you have your parents permission to travel alone?

Even with such permission you may have legal difficulties. In France, every hotel is required to report the name, nationality and age of every person staying with them. Is your traveling companion older than you?

France is generally safe even in its big cities, at least for an adult. Paris is, in fact, not "just as safe" but considerably safer than London.

You would likely be best off staying hostels. This website is generally trustworthy: http://www.cheaphostel.com/

  4. To be honest  with you Paris is by far over rated. Its  a dirty city and is by no means cheap. Most things are more expensive than the UK. I  would recommend staying on a camp site  in an area such as the Dordoyne (not sure of spelling) If you say your are travelling alone  and you  are 15 then well dont go.. If  with someone and  you really  want  to see Paris  then there  are several small campsites outside  of the hassle and bustle  one is in Lorette DE mar (a small place with easy access to trains and then the metro) the other is called Paris international. If  you dont have a tent or dont want to stay in one then there are mobile homes   which are really  very nice. Look at euro camp  websites. The south  and middle of France are the most beautiful but unless you can drive or are willing to take various trains/coaches or fly then they are some what inaccessible.  Trains quite often have deals to and from Paris  SO from Exeter or Plymouth to London then  under the channel then  your there . Search for cheap b and bs in  the Paris area. Ferries from Plymouth sail to Roscoff but there really isnt much there apart from a few shops and  a petrol station and the ferry terminal. Why not go to  the Scilly isles off the coast of Cornwall . Really  pretty there and no crime. Well  enjoy your trip where ever  you go

  5. any wheres as safe as you are, no real part of france is gonna have gun slingers or bombers chasing you every 5 mins but unless your careless any part should be fine but paris is quite expensive at least the part i went to was lol
