According to this announcement, we both missed it.

"Studio 23 will make way for the Opening Ceremonies of the Season 71 of UAAP 2008 this noon, 12:00PM. Pinoy Dream Academy 2 streaming will be postponed at a later date while the UAAP Opening Ceremonies will air via Studio 23 live.

Watch out for the UAAP 2008 only at Studio 23 this July 5, 2008."

I read in the Pinoy Exchange forum that the 2008 UAAP Cheerdance Competition will be on September 14, 2008.
