  1. Three things...

    1. STRETCH! Put your legs in the position they will be in the jump and stretch. Especially for a toetouch and an around the world, this is the most important step.

    2. Follow your counts. There are four parts to doing cheerleading jumps-the set, the prep, the jump, and the landing. On the set, you go up on your toes and put your arms in either a high V or a touchdown. The prep is when you make momentum by bending your knees and swinging your arms down. Then when you go to the actual jump, it will go higher, because you jump off your toes and stick it. Land with feet together and bent.

    3. If you want your jumps to be good, do some extra leg conditioning, like squats lunges.

If you want some more detailed stuff, I'd recommend http://cheerwiz.com/cheerjum.htm . It covers almost everything you can think of.

  2. I cheer for my school and I couldn't do any jumps until now, but if you have a trampoline you could try practicing your jumps on there. I foyu don't then if you have a near by gym practice on theirs. Also what I do to jump you probably do to is I  bend my knees and try to jump off my toes. I bend my knees and jump off my toes because it helps me jump higher . Once you think you've got it then you can try not jumping off your toes. Hope this helped!

  3. go to wikihow.com and search for ex. "how to do a toe jump" and it will give you step by step instruction on how to land one and stretches to help do them.
