Question:

Cheerleading jumps ; HELP.?

okaay. i know the best way to improve cheering jumps is to keep doing them over and over and practicing them.

but im having trouble doing them exactly correctly, when i do my jumps, i push my hardest to get my legs how they are supposed to be..

so should i just keep doing them they way i have been, and keep pushing them to look right.. even though they dont seem to be improving, or should i take a different approach?

  1. I love cheerleading!!!!

    to make jumps better strech every day. It really works. i know

    always start with your feet on the ground when your doing the approuch. dont go on your tippy toes. also point your toes.


  2. do V-ups = pike

    toe touch =  practice your splits

  3. cheer = amazinggg!

    really stretch a lot every day.

    and my coach has these band type things

    that you wrap above each knee and connect them

    with bungee chord type things.

    we do 5 toe-touches with those things on. then when you

    take them off and your jumps are awesome!

    i don't really know what they're called. but they shouldn't be too hard to find. hope i helped : )
