  1. Well I do both. They both have their ups and downs.

You should definitely try out for both, but if you don't make one of them, it's okay!

Both cheerleading and volleyball are very fun, I have played volleyball for 6 years and cheered for 1.

It's really entirely your decision, we can't make up your mind for you...

  2. Try volleyball...it's much better than cheerleading!!

  3. Try out both and decide one you like better

  4. Volleyball duh!!! lol well it depends on what you do better....

If ur a better cheerleader than you should be a cheerleader, and vise vera

  5. Cheerleading and Volleyball would both be great sports to join. I joined our cheerleading team and it was a lot of fun, it was one of the best decisions I ever made... And now I'm 20 years old and a cheerleading coach. A lot of people look down on cheerleaders because they think they're snobs and they think cheerleading isn't really a sport. But that's not the case at all. The girls on my squad was some of the best people I ever had the pleasure of hanging out with... and it is a lot of hard work! I'd like to see those people who put cheerleaders down go out there and lift girls that weigh the same as them and try to learn routines to perfection!

Anyway try out for football cheerleading (if you have a football team.) Then if you don't like it try out for volleyball. It usually starts when the football season ends.

So if you decide to tryout for cheer and you need any help coming up with a cheer or dance routine for tryouts just send me an email. I know we always had to have a cheer and dance for tryouts. And just a little tip. Do 10 jumps of each jump every day (toe touch, side herkie, hurdler, pike,) Then your jumps will be crazy high... and don't forget to stretch before you jump.  Hope I helped!

  6. Which one do you _like_ better?

See if you can try out for both. If not you'll just have to make a tough choice. If you find you made the wrong one, there is always next year, right?

  7. personally, i wanted to do the same thing as you; decide which one i'd like to play. but i could only do one thing, i played volleyball. think about the pro's and con's. you can get hurt in both, but seriously hurt in cheerleading. but if you have asthma or medical problems like that you probably better off in cheerleading because you are not moving around as much. or if you can do both, then try it! :)

    good luck!

  8. definitely try out for both.  Each sport is going to be a lot of hard work and practice.  Cheerleading does come with the added benefits of getting into games free and the timeless eye catching cheerleading outfit!  However, the personalities of the two sports teams are going to be different, talk to some members who already participate and see where your personality fits in better!  Good luck

  9. volleyball
