  1. Thats Usually what happened to me the first 2 days but then it starts to stick.. If you are planning on trying out next year then you should mabie go to some cheer clinics that alot of places offer over the summer. That will teach you dances and tumble skills.. but other than that you can mabie get the videos, i cannot remember the name but they show the dance and teach you what to do.. that may help your memory. Also ask a friend that is trying out with you to practice at night at each others homes.. so one person can help the other and vice versa.

I hope this helps and Good luck next year!

  2. PRACTICE at home. Watch youtube videos and try to remember them in the same time period allowed as in tryouts. That should do the trick.

  3. Well you have to practice over and over.

I have been a cheerleader for 6 years.

    Just try your best.Best Wishes!

  4. sign up at whatever you were signed up at.

I agree it is rediculous, and way too hard.

This our almost our whole squad quit! except for 4 people!

And where i learned all my tumbling is at MACS. They are amazing. You will be better because not only do you have a year under belt, but you have summer and all of next year.

You Will Definately Make It Girl!

when you make it, you should post it on yahoo!!!!! :)

  5. If possible, take a dance class.  That will help you remember and to dance better.

  6. Practice with other people who are trying out for cheerleader. And try to remember the routine.

  7. Have you and a friend try out then after practice, you guys can hang out and practice a little more.

  8. i cheer for schindewolf school and it did take alot of practice. but ask for help by a coach or cheerleader they are always willing to help. ask them to break it down into small steps and then every time you perfect three steps work on them all together and when you  get those down go to the next three steps and good luck i know you can make it!
