Cheese Dip....recipes?

Question

How do I make a good cheese dip with just a block of velveeta and hot sauce? I don't have enough salsa to use......I followed the directions on the box and it said just to melt the package, cut up in squares for five minutes...Problem was the dip came out way too thick....any suggestions on how much water/milk to add? any good dip ideas welcomed.

take 2nos.carrots,grated, 2tbsp. grated  chesse, 3tbs.cream, 2tbsp. hunged curd,1/2 capsicum finely chopped, 2nos. green chilies finely chopped, salt to taste. mix all the ingredents in a bowl and chill for sometime, serve with corn chips, nachos

ok i do food technology as a gcse subject so one thing i know is that if u melt cheese in a sauce pan then it will coagulate (which is  sumthing about loosing its texture and stucture or somthing cant realy rember as holidays ive fogot).

i use this sauce type thing which i fill inside pastries and all and evyone loves it so if you wants to try mine :

1 pint milk which is around 570 ml

3tbsp flour - plain

1tbsp butter/maragrine

add the milk flour and butter into a saucepan mix continually with a whisk or a spoon ( this stops the sauce from getting lumpy)

after a while you will begin to notice that the sauce is getting thicker when it is thick enough TURN OF THE GAS.

then stir in grated cheese according to taste, you will be able to see the cheese melt in.

as the gas is off the cheese wont coagulate

u can aslo added herbs and spices aswell.

this is a really easy but good recipe

put milk in melted cheese and pour hot sauce don't try that

pour milk a little at a time and add a dash  of pepper , and a dash of cumin it will add a whole new flavor and everyone will say did  you make this ?? LOL

next time try this recipe   a can of rotel  ,milk and a tablspoon of cumin and a tablespoon of taco seasoning !  and some powered garlic and some powerd onion !  and a tablespoon of masa ! it is the bomb  !
