  1. yeah,use canadian cheddar,it's fab!

  2. garlic butter on the bread

    or

    Salsa, cheddar and olives

  3. Add some cut up ham in too, it's delicious.

  4. Some brown sauce.  How about a bit of rosemary, or salsa ?

  5. For a start, try using cheese with some flavour - like strong, mature cheddar. Mild cheddar is like eating soft plastic!

  6. Try different sorts of cheese and tomatoes

  7. MMMMMM cheese on toast is one of my favorites!!

You could try adding a dash of tabasco sauce or even better, Lea and Perrins sauce (not sure if you're in the USA and if you can get Lea and Perrins but it's d**n god on Cheese and Toast -  that wan't a typo by the way lol! It's also good in Spag Bol)

  8. cant answer, im off to make some of yours!!! mmmmmmmm

  9. Splash of worchester sauce.

  10. Well,

Get your toast put olive oil on it then get some chopped toms place that on too, then get some cheese sprinkle some fresh herbs.

    another One,

Toast some moterella cheese then make some salad when the cheese is done place it on your toast but pitta bread is better!

Try Both They Are Both Delisious.

  11. I used to do the same as you until someone told me to butter the bread.  Now I do the bread in the toaster, butter one side, put the cheese on and toast it under the grill.  It's lovely.

  12. Try this recipe! This sounds delicious!!

    Grilled Cheese Bruschetta

8 (1/2-inch) thick slices of country bread

1/4 cup olive oil mixed with 4 cloves crushed garlic

1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, finely grated

    8 ounces soft goat cheese

2 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper

    2 tablespoons finely chopped oregano

Preheat grill. Brush each slice of bread with the garlic oil. Grill, oil-side-down until lightly golden brown. Turn each slice over and top with 2 tablespoons of Monterey Jack, 1-ounce of goat cheese, black pepper and oregano. Grill until cheese just begins to melt.

Oh! And you can also cook up some bacon and crumble it over the top. Then top it off w/ a sour cream green onion sauce. Combine sour cream w/ diced green onion and a bit of lemon juice.

  13. Add any of the following (or combine):

    Green chili

    Sweet/Hot mustard

Peach preserves (no I'm not kidding)

    Thick or homemade applesauce
