  1. Pasteurized, to avoid listeria, a common bacteria that grows in soft cheeses and can be deadly to a growing fetus it has caused still births, and should be avoided at all costs.

  2. Avoid unpasteurized soft cheeses including goats. Also other soft cheese that are mould ripened such as brie and camembert, avoid blue veined cheeses such as stilton. These cheeses have more moisture and can therefore promote the growth of Listeria which can be dangerous for pregnant women. Any hard cheeses and some soft and processed cheeses such as boursin, philladelphia, feta, mozzeralla etc are fine.

  3. Cheddar and other hard cheeses. Avoid soft cheeses like brie, etc.

  4. any that doesn't have a mold on the outside. So you can eat gouda, swiss, tasty, any of the hard cheese, but not the soft ones like camembert or brie.

  5. Hard cheeses like Cheddar, Jack, Colby, and Swiss, but you can also have cream cheese, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, Mozzarella, and processed American cheese.

    Good Luck

  6. Pregnant women shouldn't eat soft cheeses that are unpasteurized, mold-ripened cheeses like Brie or Camembert, or blue-veined cheeses such as Stilton and Gorgonzola (the blue veins are mold). Unpasteurized (also called raw) cheeses can carry a harmful bacteria called listeria.

Cream cheese and cottage cheese are fine: )

  7. hard cheeses, as they've said above plus you should not eat blue cheese
