Cheeseman joins Dragons
Bath Rugby centre Tom Cheeseman has signed for Newport Gwent Dragons on loan until the end of the season.
The Welshman has been at Bath for the last six years but has found first team opportunities at the club limited. He will return to Wales to provide solid support in the Dragons defence.
He said: "I'm really happy to be coming back to Wales I played here for many years before moving to Bath and it's
great that the Dragons are giving me the opportunity to come back. I have to admit it's a bit nerve-wracking."
Cheeseman should be praised for seeking out the move because it will have a positive effect on his game. He should develop as a player and will have a much better chance
of making the Bath 15 when he returns to his parent club.

Positive effect
The move shows Cheeseman has a lot of ambition and drive in rugby. He could have sat on a large wage packet at Bath but would rather play for another club for less money
and more games.
He has not won a full senior cap for Wales so far in his career. Playing in Wales regularly will enable Cheeseman to enhance his reputation as one of the best centre players
in the Welsh game. He played for Wales at under 19 level and this move should allow him to make the transition to the senior side.
A player cannot improve if he sits on the bench or doesn't make the squad each week. Cheeseman goes to Newport with a solid chance of playing in every game, which will
let him gain experience and quality.
He added: "It's hard work learning all the moves in a short time but I've
already done a training session and the players are really easy-going. The coaches have been very helpful and I'm really looking forward to pulling on a Dragons jersey."
Betting advice
Cheeseman should thrive at his new club. He will have a few chances to score tries so back him to get on the score sheet in his first one or two games for Newport.
