  1. Leopard are larger with blotchier spots, they are usaully more aggressive as well, their claws are rectrable. They often ambush their prey.

Cheetahs are smaller and only have small dots for spots, thier claws are non rectrable and they rely greatly on speed to catch prey.

  2. Leopards are bigger than cheetahs.

Cheetahs only have spots, but a Leopard has a rosette patern.

Cheetahs are faster than leopards and they cheetahs do not growl, they only chirp.

  3. umm the names and ones faster than the other

  4. Cheetahs are more lightly built. They are streamlined for speed with a really long tail. They are skinnier then a Leopard.Leopards are thick, strong and bigger for taking down bigger prey.Their spots are bigger too. Leopards can climb trees.Leopards are Nocturnal(awake at night) and sleep durning the day in trees.Cheetahs are diurnal(awake during the day).

  5. cheetahs are fastes animal .

  6. Both are members of the cat family, Felidae, but they are entirely different species in different genera.

The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is the fastest-running animal in the world, reaching speeds of over 60mph - its whole body is built for speed. It is tall and slender, with a small head and long tail, which helps it change direction quickly when running at high speed. Unlike those of other cats, its claws are only partially retractile, helping it grip the ground. The background colour of its coat is tawny, with solid black spots, and it has distinctive 'tear-marks' on the face, running from the inner corner of the eye to the corner of the mouth. The vast majority of cheetahs are found in Africa, but there is a small relict population of around 30 animals in Iran.

The leopard (Panthera pardus) is the most widespread and adaptable of the large cats, found across Africa and Asia. It is more compact and muscular than the cheetah, with shorter legs and a longer head. It is an excellent climber, and often hauls its prey into trees to keep it safe from other predators. It too has a tawny background coat colour, but its spots are arranged in small rings called rosettes, rather than being solid like the cheetah's.

  7. you can defenitly tell the difference if you just saw one, a cheetah has more of a orange color while a leopard has a yellowish color, also their body shape is different. Cheetahs are faster too.

  8. cheetahs have SPOTS, leopards have more of a"blotchy spot markings"

cheetahs run fast and live on flat land, leopards are tree climbers

cheetahs make chirp like mew sounds, leopards growl/scream

cheetahs are thin and long legged, leopards are strong and thickset

cheetahs occasionally live with more than one cheetah, [other cheetahs than its cubs] leopards are solitary [only its cubs or itself]

the cheetah almost has perfectly round ears, [not leopards]

cheetahs can be striped, too, and leopards can be black [panther]
