Chelsea, Manchester United match rescheduled for March
Chelsea’s postponed encounter against Manchester United has been rescheduled for 1 March, 2011. However this date is still a tentative one, as the weather has been unexpectedly harsh in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 this winter. With snowfall at its
peak, it is quite possible that the climate will once again become a nuisance in March. Nonetheless, the English Premier League took the decision to postpone the match which was originally supposed to take place last weekend at Stamford Bridge.
A lot of other matches have been delayed as well due to the weather situation, and Chelsea and Manchester will be anxious about the packed fixture list in the latter part of the season. Both clubs are still competing in the UEFA
Champions League as well as the FA Cup. In the Champions League knockout round in February, Manchester United face Marseille while Chelsea play FC Copenhagen.

However in a situation where one of the two sides progress to the fifth round, the match will again have to be rescheduled for a Cup weekend or the first week of May, 2011.
The postponement of the match has come at the right time for Chelsea, who are in a bad run of form at the moment. For Manchester United on the other hand, it will be a hard fact to digest, because they are firing on all cylinders
right now and find themselves on top of the English Premier League table.
